Baby leaves can be added to almost every dish you prepare. These nutritious packed leaves are best paired with sandwiches, salads, and smoothies. Baby leaves are the young version of greens like herbs & vegetables. They are harvested when they’re about 10-12 cm in length. It’s best to consume these leaves raw in your salads, sandwiches, and smoothies. Studies have shown that most baby leaves are an excellent source of vitamins A, C & K besides iron, folate, potassium and calcium. So these leaves might look small but they are big on nutrition.
The microgreen phase of a plant is when it starts forming its first set of leaves. Also known as ‘vegetable confetti’, the tiny, delicate, and very young microgreen leaves are used as an essential ingredient in salads and other foods as garnishing or as a taste enhancer. The flavorful and highly nutritious greens grow up to 2 inches tall within as little as 6 days. Add these to salads, pizzas, sandwiches, soups, wraps, dips and others side dishes for a burst of color and unique flavor.
Herbs and Flowers
Using fresh herbs and flowers is one of the easiest ways to take a dish from basic to brilliant! Herbs like Purple Basil with its sweet, aromatic and somewhat peppery flavor or Tarragon with its peppery, yet sweet anise-like taste will lift any meal to new heights. Our edible flowers like Nasturtium with its peppery, watercress like taste or Pansy which is mild and fresh-tasting make a lovely adition to your salads, infusions and even pastry or ice creams.

Microgreens are the tiny versions of leafy vegetables and herbs, they are healthier than full sized greens and pack up to 40x more nutrients. Below are a few examples:
Broccoli microgreens have larger quantities of magnesium, manganese, copper, and zinc. These are very essential minerals that most people are deficient in. So this means it is basically a plant the size of a four leaf clover that has more nutrients, vitamins and minerals than a head of broccoli.
